Games In Real Life | A First Look At Japan’s Super Nintendo World

This weekend was a busy one for many of us. Over the weekend, images surfaced of Universal Studios and Nintendo‘s upcoming Super Nintendo World theme park. The footage provides a look into the park in Osaka, Japan. From what can be seen, the video shows off something reminiscent of Super Mario‘s Giant Land stage.

The main visual provides a look at Bowser’s Castle along with a cast of characters. We see characters, including the Koopa Troopas, Goombas, Piranha Plant, and a bevy of coin boxes. Still no word yet on when the park will be completed, nor how Universal Studios Osaka will operate during the pandemic. Those details are surely soon to come. The park will include Mario-themed merch and mascots, while rumors persist of a Yoshi-based ride and a Mario Kart-based course.

More news on Super Nintendo World is expected to arrive soon. In the meantime, check out the short clip below for a closer look inside the park! Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more on this and more lifestyle news coming very soon.
