Gaming Meets Hospitality! Atari Hotels

For those who grew up in the times of early gaming, Atari put us on the path to becoming legit gamers. These days Atari is back, taking to Las Vegas and revealing plans for something that is sure to unleash our inner-child. Today we get our first look at  Atari Hotels. Las Vegas will be the first home for the Atari Hotel, which was designed by the GSD Group.

The new line of hotels will be inspired and influenced by the vintage gaming console while also catering to modern gamers. Guests of the Atari Hotel will be immersed in the culture with various amenities aimed at esports fans and creators. These details include nostalgia-inducing arcades and retro-themed speakeasies, even nightclubs and restaurants.

The hotel’s design will be overseen by architecture firm Gensler and looks to feature the latest in virtual and augmented reality technology. The hotel’s goal is to provide gamers of all levels with an experience they will never forget. While Las Vegas will be home to the first Atari hotel, a second hotel is already planned for Phoenix. Atari Hotels also has plans for future locations in Austin, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle.
