The Sotheby’s “Modern Collectibles” auction is currently underway, and people are talking. The auction caught everyone’s attention by unveiling its first lot, a complete set of Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™ x Nike “The Ten” in perfect condition. But that was just the beginning of the 34-lot auction. The lineup includes a host of cool collectibles, including sneakers, accessories, and other items.
For example, Kanye’s Nike Air Yeezy II “Red October” in mint condition are up for grabs, as are two pairs of Nike MAGs from 2016 and 2011. Elsewhere, the auction features deadstock Nike Air Jordan 1 High OGs in the “Chicago” colorway from 1985 and a Louis Vuitton x Supreme skateboard.
The rest of the “Modern Collectibles” auction includes a handful of outstanding items. Among them are Virgil Abloh-signed “UNC” AJ1s, a 2021 Panini National Treasures “Assistant to the Traveling Secretary ” card, and a pair of KAWS AJ4s. The auction has estimated prices set on each item, though more sought-after items will go up in price. “Modern Collectibles” and its array of goods is likely to sell for much more than the estimates read.
