The haunted holiday is right around the corner, and everyone is getting into the spirit; no pun intended. While we’ve seen plenty of spooky spirits for Halloween, we haven’t seen many frightening foods. Burger King is looking to put a little scare in your snack, offering a limited-edition Whopper that honors the haunted holiday. Burger King has introduced the ‘Ghost Whopper,’ a burger that will scare you with flavor and haunt your friends with envy.
The burger comes topped with a white cheddar-cheese-flavored sesame-seed bun and will only be available at select locations for a limited time. Burger King released a short video about the release, grabbing some unexpected folks off the street to meet a psychic medium named Riz Mirza. Riz and the patrons conduct a “spirit taste test,” where a few spirits, through the medium, gave critiques on the sandwich. The Ghost Whopper will only be available in participating areas and locations, so don’t get your hopes up too high. Folks will find them in Phoenix; San Antonio, TX; Detroit, MI; Memphis, TN; San Diego; San Francisco; Philadelphia; Savannah, GA; Summerville, SC; and New Orleans.
For the rest of us, it’s just wishful thinking. Check out the short video below from BK and keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more creepy culinary creations coming soon.
