Getting Communal | Bathhouse Williamsburg

Situated in a 1930s soda factory in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn is something unique. The  Bathhouse Williamsburg brings communal bathing to the borough. This unique space features stunning attention to detail and striking design cues throughout. Guests enter into a sleek reception area, which is host to handmade cement tiles and a custom concrete walkway. A 6,500 square foot subterranean bathhouse is located below where traditional rituals meet modern techniques.

The bath is located among the original brickwork and vaulted ceilings, offering an array of treatments along the way. The space features thermal pools, cedar-wood saunas, and a celestial steam room. Massages, stretching, scrubs, and cryotherapy are also available. These treatments are offered in rooms around the perimeter while a private ritual room is located in the 100-foot tall brick smokestack. On the ground floor, the destination features a restaurant and bar. Here you will find an all-day menu featuring Northern, and Eastern European-inspired cuisine and classic cocktails served in a bright dining room.

Take a look at this beautiful space in the images below and learn more about the  Bathhouse Williamsburg right now. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more unique destinations and experiences coming soon.
