2020 has been interesting, to say the least. It’s been a hectic, life-changing year that seems to get even more interesting by the day. This past weekend, July 4th, to be exact, Kanye West made 2020 interesting yet again by announcing his 2020 presidential run. ‘Ye took to Twitter to celebrate the Fourth of July, doing so by announcing his bid to become the President of the United States.
Mr. West tweeted: “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for President of the United States!” He finished off his caption with an American flag emoji and the hashtag #2020VISION. Shortly after that news came out that Elon Musk was endorsing the move, nothing that Kanye has Elon’s “full support!” Interesting, to say the least, however, some have noted that it is too late to get on the ballot as an independent candidate.
