Guapdad 4000 – I Need Bands

The west coast native, Guapdad 4000, is back. The Oakland-born wordsmith recently made his return with a brand new single called “I Need Bands.” The track is the latest from the MC, who keeps his fans entertained with his witty wordplay and smooth delivery. Fresh after dropping the track, Guapdad 4000 tweeted, “Song only been out 2 HOURS! We already on every playlist, I love my scamily.”

The track finds the MC showing off his lyrical prowess, speaking on his success over top of an instrumental produced by himself and Link+Up. The track is driven by a sample of LL Cool J’s 1985 single, “I Need Love,” while the video plays out like a movie. The clip finds Guap taking us on a tour of Miami, visiting strip clubs, and more while taking in the sights. Guap raps: “I’ve been misunderstood, really. Why you stress me out, but you feel so good to me? Shame always drowning in Hennessy, I’m addicted to f*cking (Yeah) Take your toxic ass back like you ain’t did nothing.”

Check out the contagious new single and the Paul Middleton directed video below, and look for more from Guapdad 4000 coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music.
