The beautiful and incredibly talented H.E.R. is back. The songstress returns with something brand new, serving up her formal debut album. The opus is entitled ‘Back Of My Mind,’ a solid showcase from the Grammy and Oscar winner and a beautiful collection of sound. She recently spoke about the project. She stated: “Back of My Mind is accepting the vulnerability—being able to quiet the noise around me and listen to my own voice.”
The artist went on to add, “It’s the many layers that make me, me. It’s all of the things that we’re kind of afraid to share, afraid to say, afraid to do.” ‘Back of My Mind’ features twenty-one new tracks from the singer/songwriter, which features a handful of outstanding guest appearances. H.E.R. links up with the likes of Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Cordae, Lil Baby, Thundercat, Yung Bleu, YG, DJ Khaled, and Bryson Tiller, offering an array of excellent new material along the way. The album is led by the singles “Come Through,” “Damage,” “We Made It,” “Slide,” and “Hold On.” Other standouts include “Back of My Mind” with Ty Dolla $ign, “Find A Way” featuring DaBaby, and “Closer To Me.”
