If you haven’t become a fan of H.E.R. yet, you really are missing out. After continuously dropping exceptional new material for our listening enjoyment, she’s back! By she, we mean H.E.R., and she’s back with a brand new single. Today the songstress invades the interwebs with a brand new track entitled “I Can’t Breathe.”
The track arrives after debuting during her iHeartRadio Living Room concert. The self-written track was created in response to the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and too many others. The track gets its title from Mr. Floyd’s words while being “detained.” The singer/songwriter shows off her vocal prowess and smooth style, doing so over top of a powerful instrumental. Her message doesn’t get lost along the way as she brings us powerful, potent, and meaningful things.
