The creative minds over at Himalaya are known for taking iconic, classic rides and revamping them into something special. Today they are back with a look at the Himalaya Land Rover Series IIA. This impressive SUV is a Series IIA with a unique engine choice and updated mechanicals throughout. The vehicle opts out of the common LS V8 swap, using the GM LFX V6 instead. The SUV boasts 300 horsepower, and a diesel option is also offered.
The vehicle has been outfitted with new axles front and rear and power steering and disc brakes. This provides a dose of modern performance while retaining the original’s off-road ability. The interior has been elevated as well, boasting a Bluetooth stereo with subwoofer and a retrimmed interior.
