Back in 1996, Porsche debuted the Boxster to the world. The move brought back the company’s history of roadsters, and now Porsche is celebrating the moment. The automaker returns to celebrate 25 years of the roadster, unleashing the Porsche Boxster 25 Years Roadster. This eye-catching limited-edition model takes cues from the original, offering something sleek, stylish, and stunning.
Each 25 Years Boxster will come with Neodyme wheels and side scoop trim, which serve as a nod to the copper-metallic that appeared on the 1993 show car. However, you do have the option for other colorways, including GT Silver Metallic, Jet Black Metallic, or Carrara White Metallic.
The ride is powered by a mid-mounted 4-liter flax-six from the Boxster GTS 4.0, which pushes 394 horsepower. Owners will also have their choice of a real six-speed manual or Porsche’s seven-speed PDK. This all comes together for a 0-60 mph time of just 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 182 mph. The Boxster 25 Years can be ordered now, though deliveries aren’t expected to begin until Spring.
