Icons Retooled! The COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Foamposite One

Back at it yet again, Nike returns with a new collaboration. After serving up a collaborative rendition of Air Carnivore with COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS, the two labels have come together to revamp the iconic Nike Air Foamposite One. While they are not the first imprint to create a collaborative iteration of the retro sneaker, this one is something different.

Foamposite One

The sneakers feature a reimagined upper that includes a much different approach. The Japanese label takes the ribbed base layers and places them along the sidewalls and lower heels, which mimic an organized zen garden. The white and black colorway is smooth and clean while staying true to the Foamposite’s original design.

The shoe’s upper is draped in a crisp white with black details found on the heel branding, which reads “COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS. Carbon fiber molds are located on the lower midfoot, and the “AIR” accents are embedded on the tongue.

Take a closer look at this eye-catching collaboration in the images and look for the snakes arriving sometime in November via Nike. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding new footwear coming soon.
