The good folks over at Ralph Lauren are back, offering more stunning style for the season. This time around, the legendary fashion imprint follows up an impressive collaboration with Moncler, with a new range alongside luxury retailer Mytheresa. The new collection features an array of seasonal essentials draped in classic style with outstanding attention to detail. The new collaboration dives deep into Ralph’s rich archives.
The 12-piece collection draws inspiration from nature, boasting fishing-inspired prints throughout. The lineup includes a bevy of ready-to-wear apparel and accessories that offer memories of yesteryear with stunning detail pulled from the late 1990s.
Chris Kyvetos, Buying Director of Menswear at Mytheresa, opened up about the collaboration recently. He stated: “It was like taking a journey back through a history of menswear.” He went on to speak about the Ralph Lauren archives as well. Mr. Kyvetos stated: “The ‘Library,’ as it is referred to, spans an entire city block in New York City and has references dating back to the turn of the 20th century. To be able to explore Mr. Lauren’s collection of references alongside his own works was a real experience for us that will most certainly influence our views for years to come.”
The collection stays true to Polo Ralph Lauren’s history. The two brands blend heritage with utility, bringing together unique elements for some standout pieces. The range includes heavy-cotton jackets, cargo trousers, and vest. Elsewhere we see printed sweaters, shirts, and caps. The seasonal palette of cream, beige, and blue is a nice touch.
Kyvetos went to say, “We worked with the [Ralph Lauren] team in their studio until we finally put something together that best represented a lifestyle for our customers.” He added, “We then edited the collection down to the ‘outdoor’ elements, focusing on this as something we see more integral not only to the Ralph Lauren man but also to the Mytheresa man.” Take a closer look at the eye-catching new collaboration in the images.
