Another day, another new addition to Lebron James’ fleet of footwear. This time around, we get a look at the latest iteration of the LeBron 17, the Nike LeBron 17 “James Gang.” The sneaker gets its name from a nickname LeBron bestowed upon his immediate family. The “James Gang” rendition of the LeBron 17 comes rocking a fun-loving colorway that was inspired by his fam. The sneaker is seen rocking Battleknit uppers, which are split between a stark black tone and marbled multicolor accents.
These colorful details are found mainly on the textured heel, while the darker tones are located at the toe. The throat and tongue are host to unique details as well. Here we find. LeBron’s signature LJ logo, an embroidered “James Gang,” hit in a cartoon font and some pinstriped details along the way. The sneaker’s high-cut collar and Swoosh are seen with translucent plastic, using jagged edges for a regal textured look. Then we see insoles that have a printed graphic that nods to LeBron’s 17th season. The sneakers are then finished off with a white midsole that’s split between Zoom Air in the forefoot and a purple Air Max unit in the heel.
This combination offers a colorful look and a unique adaptive court feel.
