North Carolina’s very own, J. Cole is back. The wordsmith returns with a brand new video for his track, “Fire Squad.” The track was a standout from his album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and now we get to check out the never-before-seen video. The video arrives as Jermaine celebrates the sixth anniversary of his album 2014 Forest Hills Drive. The video was directed by BBGUN’s Maxim Bohichik and was shot in Kingston, Jamaica.
Along the way, the wordsmith shows off his lyrical prowess while showing off his controversial side in the process. The lyricist speaks on Eminem, Iggy Azalea, Justin Timberlake, and Macklemore throughout the track. In honor of the album’s anniversary, Cole’s label Dreamville Records plans to upload more videos.
