J. Cole – Fire Squad (Music Video)

North Carolina’s very own, J. Cole is back. The wordsmith returns with a brand new video for his track, “Fire Squad.” The track was a standout from his album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and now we get to check out the never-before-seen video. The video arrives as Jermaine celebrates the sixth anniversary of his album 2014 Forest Hills Drive. The video was directed by BBGUN’s Maxim Bohichik and was shot in Kingston, Jamaica.

Along the way, the wordsmith shows off his lyrical prowess while showing off his controversial side in the process. The lyricist speaks on Eminem, Iggy Azalea, Justin Timberlake, and Macklemore throughout the track. The single was a standout off 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified triple platinum. In honor of the album’s anniversary, Cole’s label Dreamville Records plans to upload more videos.

Dreamville took to Twitter and stated: “A bunch of @JColeNC videos got deleted way back, and today we’re getting them all back up.” The post added, “And because it’s the anniversary #FHD here’s the world premiere of the never before released video for ‘Fire Squad’ ???????????? Happy Holidays!”

Check out the new visuals in the stream below and look for more from J. Cole coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music and music videos coming soon.
