J. Cole – “The Climb Back” & “Lion King On Ice”

North Carolina’s very own, J. Cole is back! Today Jermaine returns to the interwebs with two brand new singles as he gears up to drop off ‘The Fall Off.’ With a new album on the horizon, the wordsmith is back with not one, but two brand new singles for our listening enjoyment. Cole took to Twitter and stated: “First 2 songs from The Fall Off” before dropping “The Climb Back” and “Lion King On Ice.”

The tracks are collectively a part of the Lewis Street single. The first track finds J. Cole going in over top of a self-produced instrumental, effortlessly showing off his depth behind the mic and the boards. Some clean, infectious drum work pushes the track while some fitting melodic elements provide a nice home.

The second track, “Lion King On Ice,” was produced by J. Cole, T-Minus, and JetsonMade. Cole does his thing and does it well, as expected. No date for the album has been announced yet, but we will certainly keep you in the know.

For now, check out the new tracks from J. Cole in the stream below and look for much more from J. Cole coming very soon. In the meantime, check back with The Culture Curators for all the best in new music and music you should be hearing!
