The one and only J.I.D is back. If you haven’t yet gotten familiar with this talented young wordsmith, please do so immediately. The lyricist is back, and he returns with a brand new track/freestyle for our listening enjoyment.
Today J.I.D unleashes “JIDtranada,” showcasing his lyrical prowess over top of production from Kaytranada. The track arrives after his performance at a church in Atlanta for NPR’s Tiny Desk concert. Along with his Spillage Village, he also released the Spillingion album, while the Atlanta native also dropped a “Cludder Freestyle.” Now he’s back with another lyrical showcase.
The wordsmith goes in over top of some slick production, showing off his unique sound and delivery along the way. The energetic backdrop provides J.I.D with a nice home to excel, and he reciprocates nicely. He weaves together his undeniable wordplay and effortlessly puts together an impressive example of his talents behind the mic.
