For anyone that hasn’t gotten familiar with Jack Harlow, you should do so immediately. The Louisville representative is currently working on a follow up to last year’s album Loose. Recently Mr. Harlow made his return with a new single, pairing up with fellow Louisville native, Bryson Tiller. The track is called “Thru the Night,” and the fellas cook up something fun and quite impressive.
Both of these two are known for their uncanny abilities behind the mic, and “Thru the Night” is a solid showcase for both. Mr. Harlow recently spoke about the project with Billboard. He stated: “Trapsoul came out my senior year, and that’s all we were listening to in the ‘Ville.” He added, “I was riding around and playing that shit on repeat. He was the hottest thing going. I always dreamed of doing a song with him. Now that we got one, of course, it means the world to me.” Their new single comes to life in a matching video, directed by Ace Pro and Nemo Achida.
The duo grabs some skates and hit Louisville’s famous landmark, Robben’s Roost Skating Rink. The two showcase, not only their lyrical and vocal talents but also their slick abilities on skates.
