South Central’s very own JAG is back. The wordsmith makes his return today with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. Never one to disappoint, JAG returns with a smooth new single produced by Tae Beast called “2Times.” The track finds the lyricist pairing up with South Carolina’s own, Nick Grant, yet again. This isn’t the first time the two have come together, and hopefully not the last.
“2Times” follows up infectious singles from the two such as “The Relay,” “Look What I Got,” and “Stressin,” which features Boogie. “2Times” finds the two again showing off their respective talents and lyrical prowess, doing so over top of an impressive and highly contagious instrumental. “2Times” is pushed by these silky, ominous keys while paired with some dark, haunting drum sections.
From the deep, growling bassline to the snappy percussion, Tae laced the two with an incredible home to excel. JAG leads things off with some gritty bars before Nick Grant joins the mix and brings his uncanny abilities behind the mic. The track is the latest from JAG, though there is no word on where this one might end up. The fellas do their thing and do it well. We wouldn’t suggest sleeping on this one.
