The one and only, Jidenna, is back. Today the Wondaland representative is back with something new for our listening enjoyment. Today the artist serves up an infectious new single entitled “Black Magic Hour.” The song is a collaborative track with Bullish Recordings, who is fronted by Steve “Rhythm” Clarke.
Jidenna opened up about the new single and stated: “I think the song becomes important in these times because what I’m really speaking to is centralizing our power in a way that we channel our economic worth and channel our spiritual worth into our lifestyle.”
He went on to add, “I don’t believe that we can have the economic progress that we need to empower communities without the spiritual progression. And If we do not focus there, we will never see our worth in our bodies if we don’t see our worth in our spirit.” “Black Magic Hour” is set to be featured on the upcoming project entitled African On All Sides.
