Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked – ‘The Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse’

The duo of Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked are back, and they have a few things to get off their chest. After teaming up back in 2020 for a project entitled H.A.R.D., the lyricists return with a brand new album. This time the Brooklyn representative and the Long Beach native serve up a new project entitled ‘The Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse.’ It’s been eight years since Slaughterhouse released a project.

Fans have wondered for years what happened to the group, though each member has succeeded in various avenues. The ‘The Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse’ finds one half of the group speaking on the group, serving up a lyrically sound example of their talents in the process.

The album arrives after two weeks of social discussions between the artists and speaking their minds after “Vacancy.” was released. The album features thirteen new tracks, as well as contributions from Blakk Soul, Sly Pyper, and Traxx Sanders. While we’ll probably never get to hear the Glass Album that never saw the light of day, this project sheds a little light on why.

Check out the thirteen-track album, ‘The Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse’ in the stream below and look for much more on this coming very soon. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding new music coming very soon.
