How about some new music from John Legend? The singer/songwriter is back with something new and quite impressive for our listening pleasures. This time around, Mr. Legend serves up a deep, meaningful new single called “Conversations in the Dark.” The track was produced by Gregg Wattenberg and Pom Pom, who put together quite a backdrop for Mr. Legend to excel upon. The single is driven by some smooth, laid back melodies which are paired with some slowed down, laid back drum sections.
The combination provides John with a nice home to excel, and he lets his vocals shine throughout. The track is loving and heartfelt as Mr. Legend shows off his undeniable appeal behind the mic. No word on where this might be from, or is a new album is on the horizon. However, we’ll certainly keep you in the know. This man never disappoints, always delivering something soulful and touching in the process. This isn’t the one to sleep on.
