The beautiful and incredibly talented, Jorja Smith is back. Today the songstress invades the interwebs with a brand new single from the upcoming Netflix drama, The Eddy. The track, “Kiss Me In The Morning,” finds Jorja again showing off her vocal prowess, cooking up something quite impressive yet again. The track is the lead single from the show, which is set to arrive on May 8th.
The show marks the television debut of La La Land and Whiplash director Damien Chazelle. The Eddy will center on the owner of a jazz club in Paris, as well as his life outside of the club. Jorja Smith serves up the theme/intro track, unleashing something sultry, infectious, and highly addictive, to say the least. She never disappoints, and she certainly doesn’t start on this one.
