Back in March, Justin Bieber returned with his sixth album, Justice. The project gave way to the No. 1 single, “Peaches,” with Daniel Caesar and Giveon. Well, today, Bieber is back, and he brings along the “Peaches (Remix)” for our listening enjoyment. The remix serves as a reunion of sorts, featuring the likes of Snoop Dogg, Usher, and Ludacris. The track reunites “Lovers & Friends” collaborators Luda and Usher and “Holidae Inn” collaborators Luda and Snoop.
Bieber also reconnects with his onetime mentor, Usher, putting together something impressive and infectious in the process. The backdrop stays the same, though Snoop, Usher, and Luda bring a dose of their uncanny and unadulterated talents to the track. Luda raps: “I get my peaches out in Georgia Apple Bottom from New York, orange in Florida Vitamin C mixed with this vitamin D, now you got vitamin me.”
Elsewhere Snoop pays homage to his main lady, Mary Jane. The wordsmith raps: “Land of the tree, home is the base. Kush in my woods, smokin’ with grace. Pass it around and give ’em a taste And you can tell that it’s fire by the look on they face.” The fellas do their thing and supply a fresh take on a Summer-ready track.
