Kanye West – ‘Jesus Is King’

The long-awaited return of Kanye West is here. The wordsmith, producer, and creative has kept us waiting for nearly a year, but he’s back. Mr. West returns with his highly anticipated new project ‘Jesus Is King.’ Once again, Kanye offers up something unique, something different, and something quite contagious. 2019 has seen Kanye West go to church. He’s put together the traveling jam session-esque Sunday Service, hitting stages across the country and bringing his new sounds along with him.

Now he’s back with something for all of us, serving up a brand new opus and again showing off his genius yet again. The eleven-track album finds Kanye continuing his secular sound from his Sunday Services, meant to reflect West’s move to Christianity. Along the way, the artist serves up a barrage of new material. He links up with the likes of Ty Dolla $ign, Ant Clemons, Clipse, and Kenny G. Kanye does his thing and provide an infectious, compelling and impressive new opus. While he may have his fumbles in terms of releases and such, he always delivers musically; and for that we’re thankful.

Take a few minutes from your hectic day and check out the brand new album in the stream below. Be sure to check out our favorite tracks from the project on our weekly playlist, ‘A Curation of Sound‘. Keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming very soon.
