The beautiful and incredibly talented, Kehlani is back. The songstress returns with a brand new album, serving up the follow up to her major-label debut SweetSexySavage. The new project is entitled ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t.’ The new LP is loaded with excellent new material, arriving after a few years of life changes.
Kehlani gave birth to her first child, dated YG, and released her mixtape While We Wait. Now she arrives with fifteen brand new tracks, which are led by the singles “Everybody Business,” “Toxic,” and “F&MU.” Kehlani shows off her vocal prowess and penmanship throughout, doing so with a smooth and uncanny allure.
Along the way, she pairs up with the likes of Tory Lanez, Jhené Aiko, Masego, Lucky Daye, and James Blake. Some of our favorites include “Bad News,” “Water,” “Hate The Club,” with Masego, and “Can You Blame Me,” featuring Lucky Daye. Kehlani has put together another exceptional showcase of her talents, one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.
