Kicks With Color | New Balance Unleashes The 991 Made in UK “Grey/Blue”

Another day, another classic sneaker silhouette makes its return. This time around New Balance 991 is back, offered up in a new colorway that is sure to be a welcome addition to any collection. The sneaker comes rocking flowing design lines which come together for a stately aesthetic. The sneaker is offered in a new made-in-the UK iteration. The design is draped in dark, rich grey and blue hues that are reminiscent of stormy seas and cloudy skies. The design flawlessly blends elegance and force.

The sneakers boast suede overlays sitting on a steel grey mesh base. Soft grey details are found at the forefoot and around the collar. A slightly darker grey dresses the top half of the midfoot and eye stays. Contrasting details of ocean blue are seen on the midfoot’s lower half while navy wraps around the heel. The sneakers are also host to a hi-vis reflective grey N logo on the midfoot. A leather tongue patch and a final white embroidered 991 hit on the heel. The UK flag badge can be seen on the inner tongue.

Take a closer look at the eye-catching new colorway in the images below and look for the sneakers to drop soon at New Balance retailers like 43einhalb. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new footwear choices coming soon.
