The last time Kid Ink dropped a full project was back in 2018. While it seems like forever ago, the artist has stayed busy. He’s crafted a series of standout singles throughout the year, and he returns with some more today. The west coast’s very own, Kid Ink is back. It had been a minute since we last heard from Kid Ink, but earlier this year, that all changed. The wordsmith has apparently been busy working on new material. Today he’s back, arriving with a new single of his own entitled “Slide Up.”
The track finds Ink showing off his melodic chops, doing so over quite the instrumental. The artist takes to the smooth instrumental, and flawlessly does his thing. While Kid Ink hasn’t dropped a new project in 2019, he’s been busy with a bevy of new tracks. This one, “Slide Up” arrives after standouts like “Rich” and “Magic.” No word on where all this material might end up; however, we hope Kid Ink is working on something bigger for the future. This man never lets us down, and he certainly doesn’t start with this one.
