Kuniva & Swifty McVay – ‘My Brother’s Keeper’

We wouldn’t mind hearing some new music from the collective known as D12. It’s been a minute, but occasionally we get some new music from the crew. Today is one of those days! The D12 representatives, Swifty McVay and Kuniva, are back. The two MC’s have linked up for a brand new EP for our listening enjoyment. This one is entitled ‘My Brother’s Keeper,’ a solid new effort packed with some excellent new material. The two lyricists showcase their uncanny and unadulterated abilities flawlessly. The project is short on tracks, but it’s big on bars.

The two MC’s give us a handful of exceptional tracks, getting some snappy instrumentals to excel upon in the process. The EP includes six new tracks, boasting features from MRK SX, Maestro and Cherisha Williams, and Money Makin’ Adee. Swifty and Kuniva showcase their respective talents flawlessly along the way, hitting us with punchlines, metaphors, and more that we’ve all come to expect. Along the way, the duo cooks up solid new tracks like “Gate Open,” “Turn,” with Cherisha Williams, and “Heartbroken,” featuring MRK SX.
