After linking up with Royce 5’9″ on his single “Tricked,” KXNG Crooked is back. Today the west coast native takes over the interwebs with a brand new EP for our listening enjoyment. This time around, Crooked strays from his weekly series of flipping classic rap tracks into his own. Instead, he offers up a new EP that is loaded up with his own new music.
KXNG Crooked serves up five new tracks, effortlessly showing off his depth, his delivery, and his prowess behind the mic. Never one to disappoint, he cooks up a solid dose of his abilities and packages it together quite nicely. The project is littered with bars and some incredible tracks. Crooked never fails to give it his all, and ‘The Sixteen Chapel’ is certainly no different. Standouts include “Rap Shyt,” “Convertible Bars,” and “The Dream Tapes.” The wordsmith hits us with his unadulterated wordplay and puts together something we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.
