After twelve years of craftsmanship and quality design, Maserati is putting an end to the renowned GranTurismo. The Italian luxury automaker is ready to kick off a new era. That means the current iteration of GranTurismo has to go. The brand is moving in a direction to produce fully-electric, zero-emissions vehicles. Indicating little about the successor to the ride mentioned above.
To commemorate this transition and prepare consumers for what’s next, Maserati is introducing the GranTurismo Zeda. This beautiful machine is a stunning, one-off creation that serves as the final piece of that style’s history. According to Maserati, the Zeda is a physical presentation of that brand’s “past, present, and future.” While the current take on the GranTurismo will arrive soon, the ride will be assembled in a different location.
The car’s Modena-based plant is also undergoing a revamping. That means that upcoming renditions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio will be brought to life at Maserati’s Turin facility.
