It’s been a minute since we last heard from Lecrae. The wordsmith has been hard at work, and today he invades the interwebs with a new single. Today we get a solid new track entitled “Set Me Free.” The track finds Lecrae pairing up with YK Osiris, unleashing something quite smooth. The track is his first of 2020 and arrives ahead of his album; All Things Work Together. Lecrae again shows off his lyrical prowess and delivery, also providing something meaningful in the process.
While he handles the lyrical end of things, YK Osiris joins in with his smooth vocal talents. “Set Me Free” is pushed by this incredibly smooth combination of melodic elements, which is paired with some fitting drum sections. The contagious backdrop allows both artists to do their thing, and they do it well, as expected. The track will end up on Lecrae’s impending album, All Things Work Together, which is slated to arrive later this year.
