After serving up his ‘Low Tide’ opus in 2019, Leven Kali is back. Today the rising star singer/songwriter is back with a brand new project, this one called ‘High Tide.’ Once again, Leven shows off his vocal prowess and range, putting together an exceptional example of his talents. The project is a solid follow up to last year’s project, and Mr. Kali effortlessly does his thing along the way.
‘High Tide’ is led by “Homegirl,” “12345 (Get Real),” and “Perfect Is Boring.” The rest of the project is littered with gems, including features from Syd, Ty Dolla $ign, Smino, and Topaz Jones. Leven provides another example of his infectious sound, cooking up a contagious collection of material along the way. Some of our favorites include “Fire In Ur Eyes,” “Made 4 U,” “Perfect is Boring,” with Ty Dolla $ign and “Forever.”
Leven Kali provides a smooth, soulful listening experience, one we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. He again shows off his range, while also displaying his growth as an artist and as a man.
