This time around, Leven returns with a smooth new track called “Homegirl.” The track finds Mr. Kali pairing up with Smino and Topaz Jones, unleashing a smooth collaboration that is sure to be on steady rotation around here.
“Homegirl” is driven by this highly contagious melodic section, which is paired with some incredibly catchy drum work. This combination provides the trio with an exceptional home to showcase their respective abilities. All three bring their a-game while taking their time to refute claims that the lady they roll with is anything more than a friend. These fellas always deliver something exceptional and they don’t fall short on this one. Leven brings the vocal talents to the mix, while Smino and Topaz bring their lyrical prowess. The result is something slick and something you shouldn’t sleeping on.
