For anyone who hasn’t yet gotten acquainted with the sounds of Leven Kali, now would be the time to do so. After serving up his project Low Tide last year, the artist is currently working on the follow-up, High Tide. While we patiently await that new offering, Mr. Kali is back with a new single. This time around, the crooner is back with a smooth new single entitled “Perfect Is Boring.” The cut finds Leven linking up with the west coast native, Ty Dolla $ign, as both artists showcase their range and vocal prowess flawlessly.
“Perfect Is Boring” is the latest single from Levan, following his recent releases, “Homegirl” and “12345 (Get Real).” The artist does his thing and does it well, as usual, getting quite a backdrop to excel upon. The two artists showcase their talents over top of these mid-tempo drum sections, which are paired with some highly contagious melodies. The instrumental provides a nice home for the duo to excel, and they do so flawlessly. No word on if this will live on High Tide, nor any news regarding a release date. However, it’s worth rocking with.
