Lil Durk – AHH HA

Chicago’s very own, Lil Durk is back. The wordsmith has been hard at work on his latest album, 7220, which is a follow-up to his solo 2020 release, The Voice. The album is named after the street number where Durk’s childhood home was located, and he just released the latest single from his upcoming opus. The new track is called “AHHH HA,” which pays homage to both his brother, Dontay “D-Thang” Banks, and rapper King Von.

Durk shows off his lyrical prowess and smooth delivery, putting together something smooth, contagious, and meaningful. Driven by some punchy drum sections and these ominous-sounding keys, the backdrop provides Durk with the perfect home to do his thing. The track also comes with a matching video that gives us a peek into what life around the Chi-town is actually like.

Durk is joined by a bevy of his associates while effortlessly showing off his talents behind the mic. Durk raps: “My brother D-Thang just got killed and I been slow since (Gang, gang) But we got back on the ass, I bet they know this (Brrah) And on bro, I’m speaking facts, this ain’t no diss (This ain’t no diss) Keep the police out my business, we don’t post shit (We don’t post shit).”

Do yourself a favor and check out the new single, “AHH HA,” in the stream below and look for much more from Lil Durk coming soon. Mark your calendars too; 7220 drops on March 11th; don’t miss out. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more new music coming very soon.
