How about some new music from Lil Uzi Vert? That is exactly what we get today as the wordsmith returns, doing so with a new heater entitled “That Way.” The arrives just days after the announcement of his new album entitled ‘Eternal Awake.’ The project will be a follow up to his 2017 release, Luv Is Rage 2, and “That Way” serves as the latest single. The track finds Uzi showing off his uncanny abilities behind the mic, getting an interesting backdrop to excel upon.
The track is driven by a sample of Backstreet Boys’ 1999 hit “I Want It That Way.” The wordsmith takes to the track and offers up something braggadocious along the way. Uzi raps, “I’m with the winning team / They make sure I’m not in last place.” Later he’s heard stating, “If I wake up, don’t make no money, that’s a sad day / $2500 for my shirt, what the tag say / And I want it that way.” The track is just the latest from Uzi, who recently released “Futsal Shuffle 2020,” the lead single from ‘Eternal Awake.’ This man never disappoints, and he definitely doesn’t let us down on this one.
