They’re back! Two years after dropping off their last album, Cosmic Wind, LION BABE returns. This time around, the duo serves up their third project, ‘Rainbow Child.’ The new album finds Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman showcasing their talents yet again, doing so with a range of infectious new tunes.
The duo released a statement about the album and what we can expect. They stated: “It’s been two years since our last baby.” They went on to add, “The wind carried a new world. New fear arrived, and old ways subsided. So we built a rainbow to carry us over. Now it is time to color in all of the darkness. To dance in the rain. Art always follows pain, but our love never wanes.”
‘Rainbow Child’ comes in with nine new tracks and includes a bevy of outstanding tracks and features. Along the way, the duo provides us with singles like “Signs” and “Frida Kahlo.” Along the way, they are joined by the likes of Ghostface Killah, Trinidad James, Siimbiie Lakew, and OSHUN. Some standouts from the album include “Home,” “Radiant Child,” “It’s Okay,” and “Get Up.”
