Little Simz – ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’

The one and only Little Simz is back. If you haven’t gotten familiar with the artist, now would be a great time to do so. Little Simz is back, and she returns with a brand new album for our listening pleasures. Simz serves up another impressive collection of sounds, this one entitled ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.’ The album is the artist’s fourth, and as expected, she delivers something special.

The project is a reflective opus that provides an unadulterated look into the English artist’s mind. She recently opened up about the project while speaking with The Guardian. Simz stated: “I know that I’m quiet, innit?”

She went on to add, “I’m just very to myself, and I didn’t know how to really navigate that, especially coming in this industry where you’re expected to have this extroverted persona all the time. I wanted to just let people know like, ‘yo, I’m actually this way inclined.’ It’s me, being this introverted person that has all these crazy thoughts and ideas and theories in my head and not always feeling like I’m able to express it if it’s not through my art.”

The new album comes with nineteen new tracks and is led by the singles: “Rollin’ Stone,” “Point and Kill” with Obongjayar, and “Woman” with Cleo Sol. This is certainly one album we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on.

Do yourself a favor and check out the new opus in the stream below and look for more from Little Simz. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for all the best in new music.
