Located on the bank of the Snake River at the base of the Teton Mountains is a fine example of modern architecture. As you know, we’re big fans of contemporary design and the Riverbend House is something special. The was designed by CLB Architects, reflecting the rugged surroundings in which it lives.
The primary residence and its guest house are located in a grove of cottonwood trees, sitting on 18 acres. Both volumes are inspired by the setting, boasting an exterior clad in vertical cedar planks. Steel vertical cedar planks that are designed to weather over time. The contemporary structure fits well with the scenic area, taking full advantage of the landscape in the process. The main living area is elevated off of the ground, while floor-to-ceiling glazing offers unrivaled views of the bosquet of Aspen and mountains in the distance.
