It’s never a bad day when we get some new music from Lizzo. However, pair her with Cardi B, and we know we are getting something special to listen to. The ladies have joined forces on a brand new single called “Rumors.” The track is the latest from Lizzo, arriving after announcing the track a week prior. The new track finds the songstress doing what she does best, while Cardi B joins the mix to add some of her lyrical prowess and style.
Lizzo recently opened up about the track with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe. She stated: “There was no one else for it. There was literally no one else. From the day the ink dried on her Atlantic contract, I said, ‘Please get me on a song with Cardi B.'” She went on to add, “She’s just funny. I like funny people, and she can rap. You know what I’m saying?” The track is certainly one you shouldn’t be sleeping on, and it comes with an accompanying video. The visuals fit flawlessly with the track, which finds both ladies bringing the best of their abilities.
