Another day, another new drop from Logic. The wordsmith is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, Vinyl Days. While we patiently await the project, the wordsmith has returned with the title track from the project. The new track, “Vinyl Days,” finds Logic pairing up with DJ Premier, creating something impressive and contagious.
The two had previously worked together in 2015 for PRhyme’s “Mode.” This time around, Logic holds things down on his own, showing off his lyrical prowess over top of an instrumental produced by 6ix. The track is driven by a contagious combination of hard-hitting, snappy drum work and these violin melodies. The combination provides the lyricist with something exceptional to do his thing upon. The track ends with DJ Premier closing things out with his signature scratches.
Logic says he plans to release a new track each week before the album’s release on June 17th. “Vinyl Days” follows Logic’s collaboration with Russ called “Therapy Music.” Check out the new track in the stream below and look for the new album coming very soon.
