Longines Unleashes The 2022 Ultra-Chron

A good watch can do a lot for your look. The good folks over at Longines are back, and they have delved into their archives. The label returns with a reworked rendition of the Ultra-Chrono from 1968. The 2022 variation is slightly more significant, boasting a 43mm case.

Power comes from an ETA caliber L836.6, developed with Longines, exclusively for the brand. The unidirectional bezel includes a sapphire crystal insert with luminous indices. The screw-down caseback and crown allow the timepiece to be water-resistant to 300M.

Swiss testing center TIMELAB certified the watch as an ‘Ultra Chronometer’ over 15 days. This guarantees the same +6/-4 seconds a day accuracy as that of COSC. It does so at three different temperatures, testing the cased watch rather than just the movement.

The timepiece is available with either a leather strap or stainless steel bracelet and is supplied with a black NATO strap crafted from recycled material. Elevate your style. Check out this stunning timepiece in the images below and head over to Longines to pick yours up today. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding timepieces and other accessories coming soon.
