Last week Nelly and Ludacris went head to head on the internet battleground known as VERZUZ. Today the ATL’s very own, Luda, returns to the interwebs with something new for our listening enjoyment. As he took on Nelly, the legendary southern wordsmith previewed a song he’s had in the stash, a new heater featuring Lil’ Wayne. The single is entitled “S.O.T.L. (Silence of the Lambs).”
The track finds both MC’s bringing their respective abilities to the track, going in over top of some production from Timbaland. The track is pushed by these hard-hitting, punchy drum sections that are accented and accentuated by some slick melodies. The combination provides both lyricists with an incredible home to do their thing, and they certainly do not disappoint. The track finds Luda name dropping everyone from Bill Cosby and R. Kelly, even bringing up Kendal Jenner and more.
The fellas cook up something serious and serve up something we wouldn’t suggest sleeping on. No word on where this track may live, or when it was first recorded.
