Luxury In The Jungle | Casita Del Árbol

Modern architecture and contemporary design comes in all sorts of shapes, sizes and with a bevy of interesting details. Today we take a look at a beautiful home that offers a unique retreat around Argentina’s Parana River. The area is consumed with lush landscapes, which is where Casita Del Árbol calls home. This stunning structure aims to keep the scenery intact, doing so with a suspended design and dark facade.

The structure is clad in black metal, which fades into the lush landscape and completely disappears in the night. The foundation of pillars resembles the native timbers while minimizing the footprint and disruption of the land. Metal stairs lead to a metal terrace while walking through the semi-transparent space gives the illusion of floating through the trees. The compact interior is spacious and unique, offering a bright, airy pallet throughout. The double-height ceilings add to the charm of the design. The space is encased in a glass facade on three sides, further adding to the aesthetic by bathing the interior in natural light. The glazing also frames the views of the surrounding canopies as well.

Take a look at Casita Del Árbol in the images below and find out more about the dwelling from Paschetta Cavallero Arquitectos. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more outstanding architecture coming soon.
