In case you couldn’t tell, we have an affinity for modern design, especially modern architecture. There is something compelling and inspiring about contemporary creations that we can’t seem to get enough of. Today we get a look at a beautiful modern home known as the Circle Wood House. This outstanding home is the brainchild of Przemysław Olczyk Mobius Architekci.
The Circle Wood House is a dwelling immersed in nature, situated on a plot of land surrounded by pine trees in a Polish forest. The sandy clearing made a perfect home for this modern dwelling, which features a bold, circular form that wraps around a few existing trees. The form is crafted from reinforced concrete and aims to mimic the surrounding trunks.
The home’s timber facade is made with Okume wood from West Africa. The interior spaces of the home are connected to nature through expansive glazed panels. The inside is bathed in light, doubling as a private gallery for the art-collecting owner, while a sculpted white staircase serves as one of the pieces.
