Luxury & Speed! The Porsche x Aime Leon Dore 1978 911SC Coupe

The Porsche 911 is an icon, without a doubt. The Porsche 911 has become a fashion icon, and recently NYC fashion house Aime Leon Dore linked up with Porsche for their second collaboration. The fashion house has revamped a 1978 911SC, customizing the stunning machine with a centerpiece interior. Founder Teddy Santis researched and experimented with colors and material, while Porsche Classic assisted in bringing the 911 back to period-correct specs.

The ride is draped in sand gold paint, 16-inch Fuchs wheels, auxiliary lights, and a custom “ALD 911SC” badge. The details mimic the classic rallying and club badges collected by Porsche owners. The vehicle’s interior features Persian rugs for the lower door panels and floor mats, while perforated buffalo buff suede adorns the headliner. The seats were recovered in boucle outers with leather inners and wooden beads on the driver’s seat. This beautiful machine is set to be on display at Aimé Leon Dore’s flagship store in Soho.

Take a closer look at this unique collaboration in the images and head over to Aimé Leon Dore to find out more about the design immediately. In the meantime, keep it locked with The Culture Curators for more custom creations, new rides, and automotive news of all sorts.
