It’s been nearly two years since Mack Wilds dropped off his sophomore album, AfterHours. In the time since the crooner has been busy with television and film roles. The multi-talented artist has starred in ‘The Breaks’ and ‘Shots Fired,’ and now he’s getting back into music. Mack Wilds is back with a brand new single, serving up something smooth called “Love Letter.” The track is Mr. Wilds’ first track since 2017, and he doesn’t disappoint. The artist spoke about the track and its inspiration.
He stated: “Riding around the city listening to DPAT’s ‘Blush (Interlude)‘ inspired me to do a quick freestyle about… life.” “Love Letter” is driven by a silky instrumental packed full of infectious melodic elements and these cool, crisp drum work. The combination provides a solid home for Mack to do his thing and, as expected, the singer/songwriter doesn’t disappoint. Mack supplies a solid showcase of his vocal talents, offering something worth your time and attention. For those of you patiently awaiting the return of Mack Wilds, here you go.
