The brand with the three stripes is back with another addition to the YEEZY fleet of footwear. This time around, it’s all about the boots. Among the slate of unreleased YEEZY boot styles created by Kanye West and adidas, one that deserves more attention is the YEEZY 1020. Eye-catching, futuristic, unique, and bold, the boots never made it to get a proper release. While we may still be awaiting the arrival of the 1020, today, we get a closer look at the silhouette thanks to GOAT.
The boot comes rocking a high-top, hiking-inspired approach that also features basketball sneaker influence throughout. The boots are seen in a two-tone orange and tan colorway. The former is seen around the boots lower half, stretching up the uniquely shaped upper. The latter is seen on the tongue and the zip closure that brings the upper together. The most eye-catching detail is the midfoot, which features a Three Stripes-style graphic. The boots boast circular shapes on the ankle to give structure to the collar, while the toe box is adorned with durable rubber.
The upper’s base is protected by a shroud that can be opened and closed with the zipper. Thick midsoles and lugged outsoles finish things off, including a high-quality Continental rubber tread to match. While an official release date and pricing information have yet to be announced, a sample pair’s presence is a hopeful look.
