The smooth sounds of Majid Jordan are back. The OVO Sound representatives have been rather quiet as of late, as has the rest of the OVO Sound stable. However, that all changes today as Majid Jordan returns with a brand new single for our listening enjoyment. The duo serves up a smooth new cut called “Superstar.” The track is the latest from Majid Jordan, following up their releases from earlier this year, “All Over You,” “Spirit,” & “Caught Up.”
The track also arrives after dvsn’s two new songs and Roy Woods’ with “Bubbly.” The track finds Majid Jordan again showing off their uncanny and undeniable abilities, crafting something smooth and impressive in the process. The track is pushed by these silky-smooth melodies, which are paired with some crisp drum work.
The backdrop provides the duo with a nice home to do their thing, and they do not fall short in the process. The track is just the latest from the duo, though we hope to hear much more in the future. No word on where all this new material will live, but we’re hopeful the crew is working on their follow up to 2017’s The Space Between.
